The portion of land you are referring to is a servitude.
Servitudes are notarized rights that enable Hydro-Québec to meet its customers’ needs by allowing it to build and maintain the required equipment to supply electricity to its customers on private property.
Servitudes are indicated on your property’s certificate of location. Hydro-Québec’s access rights are set out in section 18.1 of the Conditions of Electricity Service.
