The Electric Circuit is an initiative of Hydro-Québec and four founding partners: the Agence métropolitaine de transport, RONA, Metro and Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert. As subsidiary of Hydro-Québec launched in March 2012, the Electric Circuit now has 130 partners that offer over 600 charging stations installed in 17 of Québec’s administrative regions.
Hydro-Québec coordinates the development of the network of public charging stations, but its partners from the Electric Circuit pay for the purchase and installation of the charging stations. They therefore own them.
