To answer your question about electricity exports, we can confirm that electricity sales on external markets are profitable. In 2015, our exports accounted for 15% of net sales volume, but generated 29% of net income. The average wholesale price of exported electricity for the year was 5.7 cents per kilowatthour.
In 2015, for example, we sold 201.1 TWh (in Québec and externally). Revenue from electricity sales was $13.4 billion, while the net income was $3.1 billion.
