The target has not yet been set by the shareholder, the Québec government. It is known when the government’s budget is tabled, which has not yet happened.
For example, in the budget tabled in March 2015, the Québec government set a target of $2.75 billion in net income for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2015.
When the annual objective is not met, no incentive compensation is paid. Note that only a minority of employees, including managers, are eligible for this type of remuneration. Furthermore, since January 1, 2016, the maximum incentive compensation is capped at 5%.
